You can give him a brush with a tooth brush to try and keep him tidy, Fluffymunchkins hamster porridge has really long fur and I think she trims him if it gets too tangled.

yep, Porridge is a scruffy bum and gets his fur in a right state sometimes!
So rather than trying to keep him still to brush without pulling his fur, i just snip bad tangles off
