Hamster of the Month - September - VOTING NOW

It's a new month so we have to choose the 'Hamster of the Month' for next month. The winning hamster will appear on the front page of the forum so when someone comes on to the forum they will see the picture. :smile:

So it could be YOUR hamster who becomes famous. :grin:

1. This competition is for the September Hamster of the month.

2. You may enter 1 picture and this should be accompanied by a few lines telling us a little about you hamster and why it should be chosen.

3. The picture should be clear and as charming as possible

4. The picture must be of a hamster of any species and it must belong to you or your family. It may be with you now or have passed to the bridge.

5. Closing date for entries is Saturday 21st August.

6. The voting will be posted and the new pic will be displayed in September.

7. Please try and post a new photograph that you have not entered in a previous competition.

8. It may be themed if you wish and September has back to school, late summer / autumn.

Please do not post any comments on this thread and only post entries. PM me with any queries. If you cannot post pics then e mail me the pic and I will post it on your behalf.
I have noticed that some of the pictures posted are very large. These pictures do not do your entry justice as people will not scroll across the page to view the whole image, it stretches the forum and also it can pixelate and make your picture less clear. Please resize your pictures so that they just fit across the forum. Around 600pixels width is a good size. Also you should ensure your picture is very clear and in focus as a blurry picture will not attract votes. Thanks.

This is my little Spock, winter white. He was all alone in the pet shop because he hid himself in the aquarium, and they put new little hamsters in, and he bit all the guys! He made quite a damage before they realized what was happening, and then they put him in his own tank. He was there, waiting for me. I decided to take him because he is a little fighter and he never bites. Now he is settled in his Cambridge and loves to dig and of course eat! He would be very happy if he won with his photo.

I think he should be hamster of the month because he has just become a daddy to two beautiful babies, and it will be his 2nd birthday in September.

He is such a softy, he loves cuddles, and will do anything for a yoghurt drop :D

This is Dewey :D I love this picture of him because normally he won't ever look at the camera but even after I took this photo he stood in this position for another few moments and I thought it was funny... so yeah. And his little nose is so pink ^_^

Dewey wants to win because september of 2009 is when I first got him as a little baby... so a whole year!

He is a long haired syrian who is going to become a daddy in the future, his gf is snowy who is avliable to be voted for on here :) he does lots of funny things like on this picture and when he tried to carry a whole biscuit, i love him to bits.

Chewbacca would like to wiiin! He is getting big headed, as his picture is often used by Superpet on Facebook. He loves grooming and that is why he is such a pretty little beast. He is a naughty scamp though!

This is Horace, he has entered before but hoping this photo might win him some more votes this time :) He is now 4months old and as you can see he is growing some long locks. He is not the most elegant of hamsters but I think he is such a cutie even with his fluffy, messy hair! :)

She would like to say hello and asks if you would consider her for hamster of the month. She loves to come out for cuddles and eat from the palm of your hand. She likes to keep her home spic and span and will move any morsel of food into the hamster loo she uses as her store.

This is Sprout, my oldest hammy and the father of the Spradows, gorgeous pups who have gone to loving homes - Velvet, Weetabix, Loki, and most recently "Specs" which our lovely Amethyst has :D
He would like to win as he has produced a beautiful litter and misses getting all the attention ;)
I have had him for 13 months, and he is the tamest, most beautiful hammy ever :)
He is an old man ham and is still lovely as ever and would love to win to rub it in the other hammies faces :P

Hammy was I think Russian. This is a photo of him on his wheel, he was very fast. We never held him..but only petted him. He was up a lot during the day to. He passed in March.

I can only apoligise for the delay in putting the picture up fidgett :(
Unfortunatly it is beyond my control as only fluffy at admin can change the pictures. I will make sure that the piccie is up for it's full slot though and this may mean a month missed in the comps.
