Has anyone else experienced whimpering from their winter whites? My sapphire winter whites appear to be doing it in their sleep, are they just dreaming? Never experienced this before, my winter white/campbell hybrids dont do it. They are ok and it doesnt wake them up. Just interested if anyone else has experienced this. ;)

Sometimes some of mine will make little noises in their sleep. I wouldn't have described it as whimpering, but the odd little rhythmic squeak.

My WW girl Jan started to make that rhythmic sound as well when she was asleep. She only done it about three times haven't heard that since.

But all three of my dwarfs verry ocationally will make a chiping sound.

Thanks for your replies. Glad others do it. It is quite a cute sound, nothing distressing.

My hybrids have made a few squeaks in their sleep occasionally, sounds like they're having a dream as I've seen that they twitch their feet and mouths at the same time (when they're sleeping outside of their houses). I've never heard this purring whimpering sound though-bet it's cute!
