Seems I only come on here with bad news lately. On the 1st and 6th April we lost Jet and Paddy respectively and yesterday we lost Rolo.
He was a rescue and he lived with us for 15 months. He was in our eyes neither an Agouti or Husky Robo, he seemed to have a husky face but his back was agouti colouring. He was a grumpy little chap when we got him and didn't know how to run in a wheel, so we assumed he was older than we thought. We bought him a flying saucer wheel and he learnt how to run on it but even up to the end of last year he couldn't run in a normal wheel.
He settled and became a friendly chap but wasn't really one for being handled that much before he became grumpy again, he was a right little chubs too, looked like a little sumo wrestler (see pic). He loved his food. His name had a few variations over the time he was here, he was rolo, then rolmops, then it was mops or mopsy.
He became thinner as he aged though and developed some sort of neuro problem over the past few months, where it seemed he was falling over, it came and went but the vets couldn't pin point anything, so we let him carry on as normal. I last saw him Friday night having a drink. We found him last night curled up in his igloo. He's now buried in the garden with the others we've lost over the past 2 years.
RIP Rolo/Mopsy......we'll miss you!!
