...well last week we lost our lovely Jet to Cushings and last night we found our little Paddy had passed away.
We went to do our usual Hamster role-call and found him in his food bowl. Don't think he had been gone long. At least he was doing his favourite thing before he passed, he did love his food and treats. Only the night before he was upstairs in his Imac eating and trotting around. He was 2 years and 3 months old, so had a good innings. He'd survived an operation on a lump last year and had since gone blind but he would still wake if he heard your voice and come to the front of his cage.
He and his brother Max were our first pair of hamsters and if it wasn't for them we wouldn't have the others, so got a lot to thank them for. His brother died last year, so they have reunited again!!!
Attached is a picture of Paddy during cleanout and one of him and his brother Max!!!
We will miss you Pads, say hello to Max, Tilly, Coco, Jet and Alfie for us!! I hope you all play well together at the Bridge!!
