Hamster of the Month - March - VOTING POLL NOW

It's a new month so we have to chosse the 'Hamster of the Month' for next month. The winning hamster will appear on the front page of the forum so when someone comes on to the forum they will see the picture. :)

So it could be YOUR hamster who becomes famous. :-D

1. This competition is for the March Hamster of the month.

2. You may enter 1 picture and this should be accompanied by a few lines telling us a little about you hamster and why it should be chosen.

3. The picture should be clear and as charming as possible

4. The picture must be of a hamster of any species and it must belong to you or your family. It may be with you now or have passed to the bridge.

5. Closing date for entries is Saturday 20th February.

6. The voting will be posted and the new pic will be displayed in March.

7. Please try and post a new photograph that you have not entered in a previous competition.

8. It may be themed if you wish and March has St David's (Wales) and St Partick's (Ireland) Days and Mother's Day UK.

Please do not post any comments on this thread and only post entries. PM me with any queries. If you cannot post pics then e mail me the pic and I will post it on your behalf.

I think tinkerbell should be chosen because she is one lucky hamster to be alive after all she has been through shes now on the road to recovery and more like her old self :)

This is Sprout :D
I got him in July 2009, from Pets at Home.
He had a tough start to life, as when I chose him at the shop, the woman dropped him - we thought he was dead but he was ok, so he is a fighter :)
I think Sprout should be chosen as he is a cheeky little thing, who is the tamest hamster I have ever met in my life, he lets me cuddle him, he falls asleep on me, he licks my fingers and he responds to his name :)
Oh, and he'd probably attack the laptop if he didn't win, as he constantly walks all over it when I'm trying to work/go on hamster central! :mad:
There's so much more that I could say about him, but I think I've run out of lines :mad:

This is my first tricolor hamster and my cat (Muri) who was rescue from the street.
I think this photo should be chosen because it demonstrates the influence of humans in animals. We are able to select animals with wonderful colors and change their characteristics as basic instincts as the predation. But man can not change the beauty of animals and can not explain the influence they have on our lives.

he is a male chines dwarf hamster and was bought 9th of febuary 2010

and is so tame he walks up one arm then down the other and sits back in my hands he,s such a caricter and loves to play

This is Kawaii. She is a robo hammy who came from rescue, but is now enjoying life to the full with me. I think Kawaii gives other hammys in rescue hope, that the ideal home is out there and they just have to be patient. Kawaii asks people to check out their local rescues when looking for a new hammy.

Oh my thanks guys for voting tinkerbell iv been soooo busy i feel like i havent been on here in ages. Iv had so much going on. Im glad i checked the forum now
