Farewell to you, Mr. Kiliwonkers - Until We Meet Again

My darling Mr. Kiliwonkers has passed away. I found him yesterday morning passed away peacefully in his sleep under his log hide(his favorite hide ever) surrounded by his pumpkin/sunflower seed horde and his rice puff.

Mr. Kiliwonkers was 2 days short of his 29mo. As some of you might remember he was approximately 7mo old when we adopted him.


Mr. Kiliwonkers, I love you so much! Sleep well my tender little warrior! The Rainbow Bridge has gained a kind, sweet and tender hamster. I hope they have a special log hide filled with an infinite amount of your favorite treats!


Sleep well my darling! Mums loves you so much! Until we meet again, my darling you will be forever in my heart.

Tears flowed when I heard of the tragic loss of your most precious Kiliwonker, and I find myself crying again as I write this. My heart breaks that your beloved, gentle warrior has gone to his forever sleep at the bridge, and I know how much you and your entire family will miss him dearly. He was your very special heart ham and he was there for you through so many hard times. He was your confidante, companion, and sweet and cuddly fur baby. To know Kili was to love him, and I most certainly always will love and cherish the special memories that I was fortunate enough to have with your precious, little darling when I came to visit you, Climber, and all of your amazing pets. Kilian will always have a special place in my heart as his loving, gentle nature had touched me deeply. I am thankful that he was able to pass peacefully at home, in his very special log surrounded by some of his favorite treats. He was so lucky to have you and Climber loving him unconditionally and the two of you were fortunate to have such a sweet, loving ham brightening your days with his love, charm, and cuteness. We are all here for you both during this very difficult and emotional time, and my three fur babies and I are sending you our love. You are in our thoughts. Mr. Kiliwonkers, you were a true heart ham and will be greatly loved and missed always. You will live on in all of the many hearts that you have touched over the years. Sweet dreams, dear little "possum"; I love you so. Have fun at the bridge. I know that you will have a large welcoming party to make you feel the love when you arrive at the bridge. Please give Snickers, Lancelot, Doc, Baby Truffles, Yin, Sir Locksley, Calypso, Kornelia, Keroppi, and Su Su many whisker kisses for me. Please send the most beautiful rainbow to your loving and devoted mum and Climber to let them know that you are having fun at the Bridge. Please watch over them and keep them safe as you have always done. I love you and will forever be grateful for the cuddles we shared in the past. Sleep tight and know that you will live on always and forever.

I'm in shock seeing this thread, I am so deeply sorry to hear that Killian has passed away. So I am so sorry for you but he was such a lucky hamster to have such a loving and amazing home with you and climber007 - remember all the good time you have shared together plus all the adorable photos you have taken of your handsome boy will be a reminder of how lucky you both were to share lives together.
