open his cage and mommy isn't best pleased :lol: i've no idea how he has figured it out but he has so at the moment the cage is sitting up against a wall so that if he does open the 2 side doors (it's a ferplast rainbow he's in) he won't get far.



Anyone got any ideas how to contain him without resorting to padlocks ??

Padlocks are good, as are pegs, bulldog clips etc. Best to have two on each door though otherwise the crafty ones tend to push out around them!

We use the clip from the end of a dog lead. It is metal, strong and easy to get on and off. See if anyone has an old lead lying around you can cut it off. For emergency use the wire ties on sandwich bags come in handy!

aww bless. clever boy . Is there any way of making the clip more secure? bending it so its a tighter fit or something?
