i was just wondering i have cuttlefish bones would scrapping some over the food for hamster be a good or bad as its calcium

I would have thought they'd be a bit sharp/hard for hamsters? But I don't know for sure.

well scrapping it into dust over the food not for them to bite themselfs i was thinking once a week or something

I don't really know as I haven't heard anyone doing this before... if you want them to get calcium maybe you could try some milky dog bones? My hammies love them and they wear their teeth down too :D

ok thanks ill grab some of them i have a dog anyways so its not a problem with big pack

When I bought my hamster they said to try it on cuttlefish, so I say give it a go! They said it's a good suppliment to a mineral block.
