Despite doing what I could and getting her to the vets for antibiotics and eyedrops Leo passed away today from what could either be a growth on her stomach or wet tail... I only had her two months and she was a great help in helping me love again after Ellie (my rescue ham) passed away.
I bought her from the Cleethorpes branch of Pets at Home, and I knew Ellie was from either the same branch or from the Grimsby store and it concerns me that there may be a genetic problem in the stock that breeders are providing to the stores.
It saddens me also that I was hoping to spend my birthday this coming Friday with my hammies, but now it will just be Donny and I growing older as he turns 2 in the month or coming months.
