I know this will be sad news
Latte was doing very poorly
eyes infection serious weight loss seem had wet tail also
I went to Vca animal hospital for walk in for checking on him
I was hope for him it will be bad news
so I was waiting for see doctor for over 2 hours
time I was passing by I start to worried about his health
I went to room with vet tech
I was holding Latte for while he was
feel so weak
doctor came in
she was start to look at his body
look everywhere she need to do
she told me his health is not good at all
his weight loss was seem going for while
Latte was very sick...hamster had lot of weight loss
he was seem wet tail she told me
she told me there's two options
she could give me medication for dehyderation
but there's only half and half he will be live or passed away
doctor told me it will be not do any good
she was looked at me other option to put him sleep
I was cried so badly after I heard bad news from her
i wish will be good news but it's was not...
my friend came to hospital heard bad news from vet too...
she was shocked hear about it he was very sweet to her....
I remember Latte was sleeping on my hand alway....
he remind me my other Latte
I alway think he was gift from heaven...
I thought he will be okay for almost 1 year
he was only 1 year 5 months old...
vet told me she will put him to sleep soon
you can leave with me if you can't stand it
so I leave him with her
he looked at me cried so much
I don't know what I did wrong
Latte Thank you for come to me
I feel sorry for him I can't be there for last moment
I'm sorry you had short life with me...

Hyunkyong, I'm so sorry to hear about Latte, you did nothing wrong, so please stop blaming yourself, you took him to the vet, you did what a caring owner would do but it was bad news. You made a decision that we all find hard to do, you had him put to sleep. You did this because you loved him and that he was in pain. Now Latte's pain free and gone to the rainbow bridge.

I am so sorry - it is so hard to have to leave them at the vets, such a wrench, but as Thin Lizzy said, you did it out of love. Be kind to yourself and surround yourself with people who love you. You need to look after yourself now. Little Latte will never be forgotten and he is at peace now - no more pain - and he is playing free over the Rainbow Bridge now xxx

So sorry to hear about your loss of little Latte, but don't beat yourself you did everything for love and kindness and gave Latte a loving home what more could a Hammie want? A loving home with a kind owner with all the treats a Hammie could wish for, I guess for a Hammie that is a kind of heaven.
Latte have fun where ever you are now and say hi to Pip and Forrest if you meet them they will get you into trouble....

I'm sorry to hear of the loss of Latte! Please don't blame yourself. You did all that you could to make him better, but unfortunately sometimes no matter how much we love our hammies they still pass to the bridge. You made the extremely difficult decision to help him on his journey there because you didn't want him to experience anymore pain. Hugs to you. Rest in peace, sweet Latte. I'm so sorry to hear about latte. It's not a great feeling when they fall Ill and there's only so much you can do. You did all you could and latte knew that, he left you knowing he was loved dearly.
