Trill for Roborovskis

Hi,

I just wanted to check whether something I feed my robos is okay.

Basically, once a day, when I get them out in the playbox, I put a pinch of Trill (budgie food, made up of small seeds like millet) into the palm of my hand and they always hoover it up - it's actually been a fantastic taming technique for me (after I first introduced them to millet via millet sprays in the cage).

I do this once a day, every day - is it okay to feed them this? Even every day? It's really a small amount, just a tiny pinch. They normally eat most of it while in the playbox. When I get them out they sniff my hand straight away to look for the food :)

Budgie seed is an excellent seed supplement for small dwarfs and there should be no problems feeding this at all. They look to be enjoying it and thriving on it helen :)

Excellent - thanks for the speedy reply! I thought I'd read it was okay, but it suddenly occurred that I was doing it every day and that might be different. They really do love it though. I'd never have made friends with one of my robos without it, I think :)
