You can give hamsters dog biscuits but it is wise to check the contents first. Most dog biscuits contain too much salt for hams especially the fishy ones. The NHC recommend the Biscroc ones or the Bonio type as they contain little or no salt.
If you do give these you should only feed about one pet week maximum as you need your hammy to eat hamster food which is a more natural and nutritionally complete diet rather than filling up with dog food.

my hamster eats balanced food everyday. i was just going to feed them as a treat just to help his teeth as he isnt much of a chewer. ill just avoid them and stick to the milk bone biscuits. thank you x
