My precious little guy passed away a few weeks ago. He was perfectly fine but then one day stopped eating and just was sitting in the corner of his cage. I took him to the vet the next day and it turns out he had a tumour, and he had to be put to sleep.

He was a little houdini who escaped from his cage about four times somehow and was obsessed with corn. He was the most calm mellow little sweetheart ever and was so content and never bit anyone.

I miss him so much.

I'm so sorry to hear about Thor. It's so gut wrenching when they have to leave us.

Thank you, it's so heartbreaking. In my mind he's on Rainbow Bridge happily stuffing his cheeks with copious amounts of corn :)

No problem, he was a few months away from turning two. I wish we'd had a few more months together but at least he was only noticeably suffering for less than a day. He looked so peaceful, like he was sleeping. I planted a lavender plant where he's buried.

So sorry to hear about Thor, such a gorgeous boy. It's never easy saying goodbye but, you gave him a happy, loving life and will have many memories of him. He may be gone but will never be forgotten.
