Bin cages

I've decided I'm going to give bin cages a whack as bar chewing is becoming a constant problem and driving me and the cats mad, the biggest storage container I can find is 100x40, does anyone know if I can get a bigger one? If so, where?

Also does anyone have any crafty ideas to adding levels/platforms?

There are ledges that attach to cage bars. They often have two washers that go either side of the bars. You could make a hole in the side of the bin cage and have the screw part going through the hole with a washer inside and outside the bin. The locking nut goes on the outside.

It looks like it slopes inwards. I wanted a good sized bin cage for my roborovskis. Ended up with the alaska cage from zooplus which I love and the grosvenor cage which is not so good (a bit small).

I would like something made with plexiglass but its sooo expensive to buy.

I have the grosvenor Haha what's wrong with it? I love it except for the bars
I thought it looked like it had a few notches out of it but I reckon at the smallest point it's probably still 95x35 which is the biggest I've found, I'd rather 95x35 than 70x40 if you know what I mean?
Would rather even bigger and looked into the Detolf but shipping is £35 so I'm just going to go with a bin cage

In the US my choices are a 110 qt bin cage or 360 Sq in or a 20 or 40 gal tank. My 20 critter cages are plexiglass but unfortunately they are just the minimum. I love my 110 qt bin cage cause it has more height & looks roomier than the tanks, the only negative is that even with the clear plastic you can't see your pet as well as the glass/ plexiglass tanks unless your standing above it looking down. Makes taking pictures a little harder too cause you can take pictures through the tanks with no problem but not the bin cage (from the side angle).

Honestly I love my grosvenor barred cage (570 sq inch) but if I put it in another room they don't get the same attention and if I keep it in my room they chew the bars when I'm around(probably for attention but they get out about 2 hours a day and there's only so long I can battle the cats!) it's 78x48x55(roughly) and they have 3 levels plenty chews tunnels and things to do plus the layout gets changed fortnightly, it's getting to the point where the cats will literally jump up and hang from the cage and I simply can't move it any higher, I spent so much money on it and I love it but I think it's a deep rooted habit now, they've been doing it about 10 months now

Nothing wrong with the grosvenor large rat (!) and hamster cage but I dont like the black bars. Would like white ones or better still plexi glass!

rustoleum or plastikote will fix that (leave to air for 24-48 hours) and you can get replacement rods for the ferplast furet (they'll need cut to size) or you can paint them too :)
