So for 2016, I challenged myself to do artsy craftsy projects every week and for my first artwork, I crocheted P2!
(I don't like how the eyes turned out. It looks like he's ready to commit crime any time. Lol)

Well I can crochet (not that I have for a long time!) but I think that just makes me appreciate it all the more, looks really good, such a great idea :)

That looks great! So cute... I would love to be able to do something like that! I did get a sewing kit for Christmas so maybe that is a start? Hehe :)

He's lovely! :) I've done a little bit of crochet but only ever made a couple of toys. I do some needle felting & I find for the eyes I either need to use to beads or to add a little white dot to each eye to make them look a bit less flat. If you're unhappy with how they've turned out, I'd sew a little stitch of white to the same spot of each eye. But he super cute in his cup. Well done! :)

Awww that is really brilliant. Love it!
Like Velma's idea of adding a bit of white to each eye.

Thank you all for appreciating my work! Here's the link to the pattern if you're interested in making one for your hamster as well. [Insert Clever Name Here]: Hamster in a Cup (http://cantoocrochet.blogspot.com/2014/08/hamster-in-cup.html?m=1) I do not own it. :)
@xbuttons94. Yes, that's definitely a start! Your hamster can be your inspiration for your first project. :)
@velma. I haven't though of that. That's a great idea. White thread for like the shiny part of the eyes? Thanks!

Thanks for the pattern. Yep, just a little dot in the same corner of each eye. Makes a huge difference.
(It doesn't show up very well in the pictures but here is what I mean. There is another picture on page 2 that I think shows up better http://www.hamstercentral.com/community/creative-corner/62879-needle-felt-hamster.html)
