New to here but not new to all

My name is Zinan (not my real name but chosen to honour my brother who has gone before me, it means second son, it's my rightful place) I have have two hamsters, Nora who is no longer with us lived for 3 1/2 years and enjoyed hanging upside down, the odd drop of guiness stout, refused to run on a wheel or live in a house, or chew on sticks. I and I miss her terribly. She died only two weeks ago. My new guy is Grissom and was easily hand tamed it took only two days. He's a funny guy who sits on his hammy house and stares he also climbs the side of the bin runs across the upper level, down the ramp through the paper towel tube and starts the run all over again. Also won't run on a wheel !@#%. I built my first bin habitat for him. :)

Glad you came to join us. Im sorry to hear about your ham Nora, but im happy to know your new fuzz ball Grissom is doing well :)



I wonder what kind of wheel are you providing? Wire wheels arnt the best and its not as easy for the hams to run at full speed becasue they need to worry about foot placement. If you have a wire whell you might want to look into getting one with a solid surface.
