hamster toy idea.

ok so i'm going to make some kind of either house or toy for marble my dwarf hamster. and i'm going to make it out of jumbling tower pieces and nail them together. was wondering if they are safe to use or not. and i need some ideas he already has a mini igloo that he loves to sleep in. so i was thinking of building something he can climb in and have some fun with. any ideas?

I'd imagine by jumbling tower pieces you mean the little rectangular wooden blocks from that game, Jenga? Right?
If so don't use these, the wood is painted and glossed and i'd imagine this would not be very good for your hammy.
Also if you're nailing them together to make a house or toy then you'll have a difficult time making it so its well ventilated.
