Goodbye, Pikachu :(

My perfect little hamster passed away last week. I've never had a pet before so obviously my first pets passing has been emotional. He helped me more than he ever realised, no matter how sad I may have been feeling, just watching him in his cage and playing with him would always make me smile.

He was almost 2 years old and he wasn't ill. All through the day he was eating, drinking and playing, just being his normal happy self. I saw him get comfy and go to sleep then a couple of hours later when I came bk upstairs he was in the same spot but wasn't breathing. He must have passed away in his sleep.

So sad to see him go but I'm comforted that he was happy and I'll always remember the loving little hamster who always made me smile.
