Is it normal for dwarf hamsters to move around their nesting quarters?
Pikachu has moved around twice in the last three weeks! He used to sleep on the floor in a corner, then he decided to start sleeping in his "floating house" (he;s in a bernie deluxe) which he did for a couple of weeks and now he's back on the ground and has bunged a load of Carefresh and dragged nesting material underneath his wooden log bridge thing and is now nesting under there!!
He seems alert, healthy and is eating/drinking normally, no signs of illness and coat is normal and he is definitely keeping up with his cleaning routine.
I've not really changed things round in his cage for a while, only thing I have changed is that he's on Carefresh rather than woodshavings.
Should I be worried?
