Hey guys so I've been debating for a while now on what I want to do to try to get some more floor space in my dwarf hamsters aquarium cage. It's a 20 gallon long aquarium. I've got a wheel hide houses, water bottle, food bowls, and a little and I feel like it is a bit cramped. I wanted to try to make a ledge out of popsicle sticks. What I want to know is, would hot glue gun glue be safe to use? What do you guys use when you are making DIY projects?

I'm pretty sure hot gun glue is safe (if you browse through the diy section you'll find lots of threads about this sort of thing) I just use child safe pva glue when making things for the hams.

How many dwarfs do you have?
Usually if it's 2, it's best to keep it all one level to prevent any bullying.
But, if it's just the one then it's fine.

I've only got one female dwarf hamster so I don't have to worry about that :)
