RIP Peanut

Born unexpectedly to my friends' new hamster - "Mummy Peanut", you put me back in touch with people who are very special to me. Your mother and your brothers left us earlier in the year. This last couple of months you slowed down, and were happy to potter around like a little old man. On Friday you didn't come out for a special treat, and I realised that you had left your body behind and joined Shadow, Mischief, Niblet, Oliver, Twilight, Nocturne, Silky, Honey and BrightEyes at the bridge.

You were so docile and friendly from the day I brought you home, and your soft fur was so beautiful. I miss you, little one.

I am so sorry for your loss annc. Peanut was so special and so much loved. He will leave a big gap in your life. I know he is safe and playing now at the bridge till the day you will meet again.
RIP Peanut and that is a beautiful and moving tribute to him. :(
