STRANGE TAIL MOVEMENT..

Hi
Miya my black dom spot sometimes raises her tail when i get her out of her cage - its not when shes in season, as thats totally different, this is like when she walks on bed she intimintantly raises her tail..anybody experienced this?
When she is in season, its obvious, she stands still and fully raises her tail, and stays like that for a minute or so.

any advice?

She is scent marking with her errr...girly bits! Only females do this and they sort of raise their tail and press their scented particles on the surface. It is normal. One day she will do it on you and then you will be able to say you have been slimed :roll: :shock: :shock: The smell takes ages to get rid of. Sorry :mrgreen:

:D Thanks Souffle - I thought she had worms or something!!! :shock: as it just looks like when a dog has worms it sort of drags its bum on the floor - but its not as bad as that - Miya does exactly what you described - I didnt realise that females 'scentmark' I only though the boys do that.
Now I know, and I sure she will do it on me one day!!lol
