hamster cage made of plywood

I am getting a cage made for Bilbo out of plywood, but just read that it might not be safe. But then on some more Googling I found some cages actually made of plywood. So I'm abit confused...

The glue that they use to bond the plywood layers together are usually toxic or unsafe. Hope this helps. :)
