My little dwarf ham Caramel passed away on Tuesday night, he was 2 years old and lived a happy life. No one seems to understand why I am so sad. He was my first hamster, I actually bought him for my son but as I expected, he became mine about a week later. Caramel's home was in my office next to my desk. I keep looking over my shoulder but he is not there. I miss my little fuzzy bud, holding him, talking to him, playing outside, watching him run in his ball, or going for a hop in the garden. It is truly amazing how something so tiny could have so much personality and impact my life. Rest in peace my little sweetheart.
