gary 15/08/12 to 16/09/14
it is with great sadness i announce the passing of my most successful show hamster to date Gary.
He had won 80% of the rosettes in my hamstery and gained his champion certificate in 2013. He won best in show at Rotherham 2013 and had best opposite sex at otley that year I think it was.
He fathered 27 pups and was a very friendly little guy.
Over the past three or four months he had a tumour growing out of his left abdomen but it did not bother him and he carried on as normal.
I came in this afternoon and went to put the shavings i had just bought in the hamster shed and noticed he was half buried and that's when I realised what was wrong.
thank you Gary for all the fun we had and hope you are resting peaceful now.
