I wasn't going to do a memorial for Flora as her loss has been the most painful I have ever had to bear. I only had Flora for 6 weeks when she became ill with diabetes. Sadly last Saturday I had to have her pts. When I bought her with her sister Fauna I was so excited, as even though I've kept dwarves for a long time, I'd never had a pair. I was so looking forward to sharing many pictures of both of them on here but sadly it wasn't meant to be. Her passing has left me heartbroken & it's going to be a long time before I will feel any better. Even though her life was extremely short she was loved dearly & had lots of fun.
RIP my little angel

Condolences.

OMG, that first pic is priceless!!!! He actually slept like that!!!???

SQUEE!

Laws of Conservation tell us that matter is never destroyed but is simply converted to some other form of energy. So Flora is out there , spreading Flora-ness to the universe :)

Grief is normal and healthy. And, it seems, able to bring a much deeper level to love and fond memories. 'So much to miss' translates into 'yes , it's true....they were such good times"

Thanks for sharing her with us.

So sorry to hear of your loss. It is so unfair when they are taken so young but her time with you filled with love made it a life to cherish.
Play well at the bridge Flora x

How unfair to lose her so soon, Rach. I've been off for a bit and just saw this. The photo in the sandbox is a real winner. What a character she was. I can't believe it happend. I am so sorry. :-(

My Molly and her can play together. I completely understand your loss and pain. Nobody knows the special bonds formed with these little creatures like we do. Just know in time, your memories of her will eventually comfort you rather than the recent tragedy haunt you. Best of luck.

I'm very sorry that you lost such a sweetie and so quickly. They looked like two peas in a pod. Flora looks so bright and inquisitive, thank you for posting such beautiful photos.
