RIP sweet little Howie

Howie has sadly left for the bridge an hour ago. While I am sad at his loss I have taken great comfort that he passed only two days short of 30 months. For those of you who remember Huxley, Howie was the ham I got just after he passed. He was a heart ham & so special to me. He hadn't been himself the past month & was mainly just sleeping & eating. I knew a couple of nights ago it was only a matter of time. As always I'm rubbish at memorials but the pictures tell what fun he had & how cherished he was. Sleep tight Howie xx

The second picture just reminded me of a lot more than just that photo. He was a great ham, a lucky ham and I'm sure a happy ham.

Howie's little feet just tickled me no end Rach. Such a laid back little fluff. I am so glad he lived to such a wonderful age. Your photos are just amazing. So sorry you've lost this little heart ham. Howie, old man, run free at the Bridge. You will be missed. :-(

Oh wow...such great photos and such a lovely little guy! I'm so sorry you lost him. He lived a long and happy life I'm sure and somewhere out there at the Rainbow Bridge he is happy he was your hamster. He reminds me so much of my darling Mr. Coopy that i lost early this year...hope they run into each other wherever they are
