Using a jigsaw I cut a base to follow one of the contour lines on the cage (it's just a piece of scrap wood) & stuck the sticks to it

Thank you for your kind words:)
I'm used to making toys and things for the parrots and rabbits but it's a brand new experience making something a hamster will use, I feel a bit like a kid playing dolls houses LOL :)
I also made her a little 'den' to put her dish of sand into and a very basic swing which she adores, she spends ages just sitting on it :)

Wow! I am very impressed. I am also a little jealous...I just don't have the creativity to come up with something like that!!!

I am male and I hate pink, but I must admit, it is a nice shade of pink. I actually like that shade. At least it isnt barbie pink and too over powering for the cage. I think you chose the colour right. It matches the cage.

I've made another one, this ones for the plastic bin. The left hand side is the round house and the right hand sides for her litter tray :)
I was originally thinking of attaching this bin to her cage but have since decided to just use it as a seperate play area but she hates it soooooo much!

Why am I making houses for a bin she hates? I have no idea LOL

Wow, this looks wonderful. It may be in idea I have to steal. What a spoilt and special hammy you must have. And a lucky ham she is too. What wood have you used? I am always too scared of wood as I never know for sure what is a safe wood and what is unsafe. Too much information out there and some with unknown sources or conflicting information. x

I justuse jumbo lollipop sticks from Amazon for mine, and since I have only just finished Plastikoting Alexander shelves...twice...mine are not painted. I have only made houses so far as I am notas skilled as Willow!

I really love the flowing lines of the shapes of the houses. The paint jobs just bring it together. Really nice. :-)
