Mini hamster comic

I drew this little comic really quickly in Photoshop (apologies for the quality!) and thought it would be funny to show some situations that other hamster owners would relate to.

I will post more here as I think of them, but feel free to post your own here too :)

Love these - in the same light as the 'bang' one I have the laying in bed scene with the squeak, squeak wheel noise then running in and not a hamster is on a wheel!

Souffle, I think they do that on purpose!

I'll often be woken up by a wheel of some sorts, come out, and everyone is grooming or doing something else, and the culprit is not to be had!

I love these. Sometimes in the middle of the night I hear something moving around. I don't know why I bother to check on Nutmeg and Ted E....It's always Almond. I would imagine that you could make a book with these cartoons. Do a midsize Kindle e-book and I bet you'd sell them. :-D

I think out of all the times I've gotten out of bed, it's only once been the dwarfs...! They're usually out in the day, and it's almost always Java.

I like to think of it as them playing us the "song of their people". My SO is not so sure.

It's usually when someone else is visiting and are probably thinking "that poor hammy has no food", and I'm like "I just gave you some food!" :D

Actually we get it alot in the pet shop. I've had people come to me and quite pointedly say, "Did you know that your hamsters have no food?" At which point I have to invade the hammie nests to show the massive piles of food they've hoarded, just to prove. :rolleyes:

These are great. Every hamster owner knows that last. Last night I looked in Nutmeg's bowl and it was nearly empty. She had a lump in her cheek, but I put some more food in her dish anyway. You'd think she was starving the way she threw herself at the dish and started scarfing the food into her other cheek. Piglet. :rolleyes:

So right! Unfortunately, since my Nutmeg is a real stinky ham when she's in heat, Ted E. is frantic to get to her. Soooo, he's been bar chewing. He runs from the cage to the tube to the tank topper over the tank nearest my bed, which is as close to Nutmeg as he can get, and he starts chewing the bars. He has a plan, don't you know? \\:D/ He's going to chew until I lose my mind and let him go live with her. :-" As if [-X. Your cartoon fits my situation perfectly :-D
