99.9% sure that slide was made from a piece of clear PVC reinforced hose, you can buy it by the foot in most hardware stores:)

I've never noticed it, thanks. Oh but it may not be wide enough for a Syrian though. I could cut my 3" pvc pipe lengthwise though.
