Hi there, I'm sure I'm not the first one to post this, but thought I'd share that I bought a tube from UPS (shipping store) that was about 48" (122cm) long and 3" (7.62cm) wide. I cut it up into 6 pieces. I like it because you can decide how long you want the tube(s) to be. I have about a 48" PVC pipe that is also 3" wide but I don't really want to try and cut that. lol

Very inventive, thank you, I will have to try this. I am not very imaginative so I rely on posts like this one:)

Glad you like it, thank you. I was at that store because we had to mail documents and the tube was calling my name. lol

Thanks! They did seem to enjoy having more to run in and out of. :) i put one in Wicket's cage and buried it and he ran through it.

Lol it's a big playpen and I had to stand back to get it with my phone. lol I wonder how I could join the tubes with a corner to make a bend?

The one with duct tape is the pvc pipe.

... Oooh funnnn. I mentioned your coroplast playpen to my SO and he just stared at me and sighed. Apparently my boys will have to make do with their cardboard boxes for playtimes. :P

Lol well it's similar to cardboard as far as bending it and such. More durable though. It's just easy to clean so it lasts longer! Well, I imagine that mostly applies to having a bottom. The sides don't seem to get dirty. Can't argue with cardboard if it works and it's free. :)

Yeah, we use it for artifacts in museums so I'm familiar with it. He just wouldn't know where to store it, as we're already a little strapped for space. But I'd love some more tubes. Tubes tubes tubes so many tubes.

Understandable!

And yes, tubes and more tubes! :D I really wish I could fined a 3" elbow for pvc pipe but no luck. Another reason a dwarf would be fun! They could do fine in a 2" I imagine.

Mocha would go nuts for a tube like that and possibly never come out. Caramel would insist he could make a nest in it.

I wonder if I can connect them with holes in the side instead of the ends.

Try a hardware store or plumbers merchants for bends - usually sell various angles - to join pipes. If the diameters don't quite match hold them together with tape. Or you could cut & join card tubes by cutting them at 45 degree angle & again taping them. You can also get t-junction PVC pipes.

Hi, how do you connect your coroplast together?

Humfry, thanks. I will check. I have only found 2" elbows which I think is too small for my Syrians to turn in.

Hi Dotty, I score about 1.5" width of the Coroplast at the end so it bends (overlaps at the corner), then connect it to another piece with binder clips (medium size) both top and bottom. The floor piece is not connected in anyway.
