So getting supplies from p@h and I spot this gorgeous little guy in the adoption section:

He'd been in the adoption section due to being returned as he was fighting with his cagemate, he has quite a winter white look to him but being from p@h I will assume hybrid. He is 8 months old and a little shy at the moment.

I think I may have to online order my supplies from now on lol

Haha! Looks a little beauty, you will have to hire your own 'Hamster Guard'. I can see what you mean about the white, but yes he has to be a hybrid. The handsome chap and by the way molly, that is some quality photography ;) x

I know right? I saw him the day before when I went to buy degu nuggets for part of the degu nugget mix I am doing for my boys and just fell in love with him, took a quick snap and sent it to my husband who promptly said no, the next day after explaining that I had the space and I just needed him, he agreed and I was so worried he wouldn't be there - who would be able to resist? Luckily for me he was and he came home with me immediately

I think people hand them in to P@H when same sex pairings begin to fight and, invariably, one hamster will suffer. I think that's what happened to my Chinese - she had a bit of scarring when I got her.

He is beautiful! In an ideal world people would be given the correct info and be prepared for a falling out and be ready with another cage. *sigh* It's not an ideal world, but at least you found this little one and his little world has just gotten better :-D. His coloring is just stunning; I love the stripey pattern he has. :-)
