Sampson is at the rainbow bridge

I'm really upset. I bought him from a pet store so I really didn't know how old he is but I'm not sure if he died of natural causes. Last night he was fine, running on his wheel and doing everything normal. Today he was gone...

He had a little bit of blood on his nose when I found him. Could he have had a stroke?

I'm just so upset. I love him so much. Rest easy Sampson, you're at peace now <3 <3 <3

So sorry to hear about your hammy Sampson. Apparently it can be common for them to bleed & have mucus from the nose when the organs are shutting down.My Basil was an old man when he died & this happened to him x

I am so very sorry.
Sometimes it is just their time and it can be very sudden just like in humans.
He was a gorgeous boy.

Thank you all so much. He was buried at my grandma's house because I live at an apartment. He was so special and sweet. I just loved holding him and cuddling with him at night.
