Tubbs has passed on (roborovski)

I thought I should post an obituary for one of the little roborovski lads that came from babyboos a few years ago. Morag, Tubbs passed on this morning due to an enlarged tumour that grew on his side. My vet gave me baytril to see if the swelling would go down, but sadly, it did`nt help. He toddled away fine and was even drinking from his bottle late last night, but this morning, I found him lying peacefully in his nest. He passed in his sleep. :cry:

His friend Tiny, lives on and is very well indeed I`m happy to report. Both boys were split up about three months after coming to me as Tubbs started to bite Tiny, so they lived seperately after that, but were happy, lively little hamsters.

Rest in peace Tubbs. You brought joy to my life with your fast and funny antics and I will miss you dearly. x

Thankyou everyone. I know I don`t post much these days but I wanted to let some of the members on here who know me about little Tubbs. My mother who`s nearly 70, dug a little hole in the rose bed for him and we buried him in a little box lined with tissue.

I hope to have Tiny, his brother for a while yet and I`m happy to report that he`s as lively as he was the day I rehomed him! So he`s my only hamster now. I keep fancy mice and a few gerbils as pets too so they all keep me busy.
