Humphrey

Had to take my little Humphrey to the vet to be put to sleep. Am sad. :-(

Humphrey was one of my old roborovskis, around 2.5 years old. He was very lively until the last few weeks and never liked being held or fussed. To remind me of this he gave me a little nip as I put him back down into the cage before the vet took him. Made me smile. Even at the end he had spirit. :-)

2 1/2 and still vigorous enough to nip! He made you smile on his last day. A special memory from a special little hammy. I am so sorry you had to let this little guy go, but this was done from love of him, to prevent more pain. After the sadness passes, you will have all the memories he made for you in those 2 1/2 years. Run free at the Bridge, without pain or illness, Humphrey. :-(
