Hi Everyone,

I was hoping to enter my LH Cream Satin Male at Bath, and was hoping to enter him in the Young Stock Duplicate class, but he will be 16 weeks and 4 days!!

It states that the hamster must be between 8 and 16 weeks old to be entered into the Young Stock class - is this very strict?? Will he be able to be entered into this class or not? He wnt actually be 17 weeks old, but he will be slightly over 16 weeks :?

Any info would be great :D

Thanks,

Tammy x

as far as i know, that means you cannot enter him. My Ruby will be 16.5 weeks for Brinsworth and i'm assuming i can't enter her in young stock :(

That's my assumption too. Since you have to give the actual date of birth, I assume its done down to the day. I'm sure BVH will be able to confirm for us though.

I've entered a ham at exactly 16 weeks before (though at a Northern Show), and so has Holly, as we entered brothers. We were told that is was less than 17 weeks, and that they didnt count in days.

Quite right SM. They are 16 weeks right up until the day they are 17 weeks and can therefore enter the young stock class! :D

Sue and Teresa have already answered this but I was poised to say "go for it!" - as they are 16 weeks until they are 17 weeks to the day :)

Good luck with your babies!
