In memory of our beloved Pawaver (Paws)
Silken: you raised one small paw and waved
Connected: I held you, a sunrise of golden softness
Perfection: a life shared, hearts intertwined
Replication: your childrens glossy softness, your nature preserved
Drifting: between here and there, thistledown whisp
Separation: 'Go now' I said, you sighed with longing
One last wave, Goodbye my love
Together: two hearts now joined

Our beloved Paws fell asleep in his own nest and did not wake up. He was an old lad and his time had come and we are glad his passing was gentle and he was secure and treasured here till his last breath.
All hamsters are special but sometimes one comes along who is extra special. Paws one one of those hamsters. It was a pleasure to share his life. He was a gentleman and one of the softest, calmest hamsters we have ever had. He was beautiful but his character was what made him so very special. Many of you have his children and grandchildren and we hope when you look at them you will see Pawsy and what he passed on to them. He will always be with us at Custard and especially with me for it was him who chose me from his nursery nest.
Wave goodbye little man and we will meet again one day :cry:
