My cage was definitely a deal, but other than the wheel, water bottle, and platform it came with.... It's pretty plain. I want to do some DIY projects to liven it up, but I'm just not sure what I can do without making it cramped. My cage is about 16" long, 15" high, and 8" wide. Here are some pics: [IMG]https://www.dropbox.com/s/r2m477o7v99o8y1/2013-08-17%2018.15.18.jpg [IMG]

Any ideas?

Hmm... Well, here's the link to the cage on petsmart Hamster Supplies All Living Things Hamster Starter Kit | PetSmart (http://m.petsmart.com/mt/www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2752705&f=PAD%2FpsNotAvailInUS%2FNo)

Unfortunately your cage is much too small. Most pet store cages are tiny. I would suggest a tank or a bin cage.

Yeah, it's just a starter kit for now :L I do have a seperate play area for her though, and she gets out quite a lot.

I would get a large plastic tub (eg 145l really useful box) and connect your starter kit cage to it as it's not big enough on it's own and any enrichment in there will make the space even smaller.

I think I'm just going to save up for a big cage. I've got my eye on the Savic Hamster Heaven :)
