... Has anybody ever done this?
I have some corduroy jeans that are no longer suitable to wear due to a hole and as they're not that old I was thinking of making something for Claude out of them.

Is it possible/safe to do so?
Has anyone ever done it before?

We've made old clothes into hammocks for Fwirl, its no more dangerous for them than any other fabric toys really

my yuki chowed the life out of the hammock we made her i woke up to find it shredded and i just putted it in yesterday :/

Use polar fleece, like what those poundland pet and baby blankets are made from. Polar fleece doesn't unravel or have threads if chewed and won't block up or tangle in the hamster:).

We do. If its safe for kids it'll be safe for hams is my theory. We chuck actual shop bought fabric hamster stuff in the washing machine on times too lol
