Towy Vale's Bon soir
Always a gentleman.
Today I had to have my dear little man put to sleep, he has been suffering with malnutrition for many months now, effecting claws, teeth and fur, which I have tried to rectify with vitamins, changes of food and beddings, but I knew like many others who have also suffered this, he would never be clear of it.
(Please do not bring this up, its too hurtful for myself and many others)
He has shown me recently that he was no longer happy and content in life, his wheel lay untouched for weeks on end, as gentle as ever despite the discomforts.
Bon soir has been a very special boy, he sired my 2 litters here, my first litter proved he was infact lilac dominant spot, and not white bellied, but as you know, the litter did not go well, and his only surviving child of that litter was my hush puppy who I hand reared.
After the tragic first litter, and with the recovery of her infection, I decided to breed him to Dianna, I thought she had not taken, she showed no signs, surprising me with a small litter, of which we have 3. womblehand's pookie pow, lougarry's akiko, and my 'our england's' rose, named after her mother who had to be pts shortly after the litter was weaned as a secondary infection set in whilst she was weakened.
Now he can play at the bridge with his children, grand child, brother and my dianna, and all the hamsters that are there.
You have been a blessing to have, a treasure, goodbye my gentleman x
