While I was away, a few days ago my beloved hamster Sam passed away, I got a telephone call from my friend who said he had passed away in the night. I am heartbroken, I do not know what many of caused this, he was a rescue hammy so I had no idea of his age at all. Although I am happy he was in no pain, it could of been so much worse, I used to love the way he would come and cuddle up to me when he was out and sometimes climb all over me too, I miss him so much.

Oh no, it's such a shock when they go unexpectedly like that. I lost one on christmas day like that and another one last week. I'm sorry you lost him but at least he knew real love from you.
