~ The Signature Shop ~

[pophammy]

I have decided to set up a signature shop for people who do not have the facilities to make their own or just do not have time. I can include pictures of your hamster (or other animals, or anything really!) if you wish, or just some text. Please post all requests in this thread.

The size limits are 60 pixels high by 468 pixels wide. This is the size your sig will be:

For your signature I need:

* What colour scheme you want
* What text you want, and any particular fonts you would like
* Any pictures you want on (please include them in this thread, and please note I might not be able to fit them all in your sig)
* Any particular themes you want (hearts, stars, spots, girly etc.)
* Anything extra you want to include, or that I should know!

If the shop gets very busy, then it's likely that you will only get a sig from one of us, though we will both try and fulfil your requests so you have a choice about which to use!

photos: see below. i'd like the hams sort of "cut out" like in the example sigs.
then i'd like the Ruby one at the right end and the harvey one at the left end with the bunsey one just to the right of harvey. then between bunsey and ruby is the writing

i'm having probs uploading... the bunsey one has attached but the ruby and the harvey one say the file is too big. the harvey is the one in the competition called Harvey 2, with harvey eating spinach... i'll get the ruby one on photobucket.

If its possible could i have the colour scheme in this colour (which is colour code BF0040 in the font colouring) and the writing in black

To use it, right click and save it to your computer, then upload it to photobucket and go to user control panel, then profile, then edit my signature. You can paste it like a normal pic in there, and it should work!

PH - I just love them - I love the mad hamsters one especially - they look as though they have had makeovers - I know Arti will love that one too... hmmm now I will try to upload it to my sig.

I love both my signatures and don't know which one to choose. I have tried to upload both of them but baileys says it is too wide and pophammy's cuts off the 'm' on my piczo.com!
Could I be a real pain and change the words to Basia and then it should fit in hopefully.

Jessalina ~ go into user control panel, and then into profile, and then click on 'edit sig' (you've probably already done this). You can use the links from my photobucket if you like ~ just add [ i m g ] http:// before the picture code and [ / i m g ] afterwards but remove the spaces (I'm sure you know this already! :wink: )

Jessalina you have likely done the same as Basia. Go into your user control panel and check your board options. You need to tick the yes box beside insert signature as default. It is normally set to 'no'. Check back what I told others to do on this thread and it worked :D

I'd like it to say Lindellen Hamsters with my website address underneath in much smaller letters if possible? With a light blue/sky style background? You can use any of the pics on my website? I that okay???

Wow they are brilliant - do you think you could do one for me when you have time?

I'd like it to say Noodles in quite bold bubble text (like Pophammy and Bunsey ones)
and be quite bright - maybe pinks or bright blues??

I really like all your designs so am happy for you to do anything - I've put my ideas below but I don't know how you make them so don't worry if it's impossible or really time consuming or just sounds rubbish!! - I know I'll love whatever you do! Use any of the pictures you want as well as I'm not sure if they are suitable or not.

My idea - I don't know if it's possible but could you cut the background from my pictures so it is just Noodles and then have this picture kind of leaning on the S of Noodles;

Foreverhamsters, I use Paintshop Pro X. I cut out pics using the 'freehand selection tool' which looks like a lassoo icon. Set the selection type to 'edge seeker' and then go around your hammy ad it should cut it out neatly! I don't know if this method is used with other graphics programs though.

Hmm... odd :? I see you only have a link in your sig at the moment ~ you need to add (then%20the%20url) , but you probably know that already!
Maybe I've accidently made it too big ~ I will check its size...

It seems to be the right size, just a bit smaller than the limit. I added a border to make it exactly the size of the limit ~ perhaps this will make it work :? .

I'd love it if you could do like an animated one, like a slide for each hamster? If you can't do slides then don't worry about it.
For text I'd like it to say the hamster's names by the hamster's picture. No particular font.
For colors I don't really care what you do as long as it isn't too pink. I like green, purple, and orange.
And I would love if you could do like just scribbles or something.

Hi Miss Worldz, I'd be happy to make you a sig. :) I can do animated sigs, but if you want more than two slides then they would just change straight from picture to picture without any special effects. If there are only two slides I can do effects such as dissolve, spiral, slide etc. Hope this is OK. :)

Go User Control Panel > Profile > Edit Signature > then paste the above code into the space. Hopefully it should work. :)

Sorry I have been so busy with exams. I am delaying with the sigs at the moment until Fluffy tries to resolve the issue with actually being able to post the signatures to the profiles. It seems you cannot put them in. If you would like to try copying the last one I did into your signature and try and see if it shows (then remove of course!). If it does let me know and I will go ahead with yours. The problem may only be affecting new members and as you have been on for a while yours may be OK.

Hmm, unfortunately the codes don't seem to be working on the new forum so to use it you will need to right click on it, go to 'properties' and copy the text where it says 'address: (URL)'. Then go to your sig, type then paste it then type . Hopefully it should work then! :)

Its weird. I can see some peoples signature but not others. So on page 25 this page, i can see wofunny's signature - but no one elses. In the bottom right hand corner of the screen i can see show your signature and it has a tick in it. In my user profile it is ticked.

I love my signature (thanks PH) and well as long as everyone else can see it - that's good enough for me. Enjoy my signature :-)
