Sewing

And so i've tried my luck at sewing. I have never had an interest of it before. But now, now i want to sew clothes for my children :confused:

Anyway, I'm just finished with my first pants and wanted to show you guys how they look like :)

I love how "fluffy they are, yoga-ish. I want my kids to be able to play in comfy clothes so this is perfect. Is there anyone else who likes sewing?

I don't sew, mainly because I've got a big enough yarn stash from knitting and crocheting and I'm a bit concerned I'd end up with a similarly sized fabric stash. One day when the children have left home I may turn a bedroom into a craft room... another 15+ years before that's likely to happen though lol

Oh wow, I just saw this thread now! I like to sew very basic things because anything more complicated gets me confused. I've sewn one or two pieces of clothing (boxer shorts and pyjama pants) and it took me ages. I really admire you for having the skills to do this! Love your fabric choices, too;)

I love sewing too, I make the vast majority of my clothes and my daughter's clothes. I'm in a bit of a sewing lull at the mo as I haven't started winter clothes yet, but I'll try and remember to take pics of the next things I make.

I love the jersey fabrics you've used - I can't find decent jerseys with funky prints for good prices here!

There is always lolita fashion!It's just very expensive and if you're not fairly petite it's hard to find sizing that works :( It would definitely be nice to see a business start from this just for all the cuteness that comes :D

Hello Hikaru. What a great job you did with all the clothes. I love the colorful material you used for them. The girls are fantastic little models too.

My mom used to sew for us and I did some when my daughter was little, but now I mostly knit and crochet. Skills like that are fun, cost effective and useful. Where on earth did you get the hamster material. It's so great! :-)
