Maybe it's cooler in the tube?

It may be that Rosie finds it a little cooler in the tubes as the weather is warming up. As long as she is still happy and healthy, don't worry about her too much.

I'm sure that Rosie will only sleep where she is happy and comfortable.
We have a similar problem with Doodles at the moment - it doesn't matter what we provide for him to sleep in, he insists on squeezing himself into the gravy granules tub in his cage - we even bought him a very nice "grass" house at Romsey, but so far he has completely ignored it.

Tonight I have an entire litter of 11 almost 4 week old babies sleeping in a gravy tub that is wired up to the roof of the cage. Mum is sprawled out in her nest enjoying the peace and quiet!

So it's your fault then!! It's not a problem where he sleeps really, but it would be nicer for him if he slept in one of the proper houses we have bought and put in for him :x

It seems to be normal - we had a hamster who did this. It's when they wee in the tubes that it gets to be a *real* problem. Especially when they're Rotastak tubes and the urine seeps out through the connections. Yeuck!

Sleeping in tubes is normal don't worry about it. I used to have a hammy who was in a Pod cage he used to sleep in the wheel wasn't too nice to clear out lol.
