So I bought this cage second hand and its just been delivered. It's turns out its not the cage I seen in the image. The one in the image had holes in the side for rotastak tubes. The one that's been delivered doesn't. I was hoping this cage would be excellent to connect up to the cage I already have so my hammy has more space. I have no idea if there is anyway I could DIY the cage so it can be connected to the other cage. If not I'm going to have to sell it as I'll have no where to keep it and no uses for it.
Please help me!

there is no way of drilling a hole in the plastic as it is to brittle. you could cut the bars on the top and put the tubes in to the cage that way, the bars you cut will need to be taped to stop any sharp edges, it would be difficult to open the cage the tubes would ned to be removed to do this.

What would I cut the bars with? Do you think I'm better just selling it or DIY?

you can cut the bars with tin cutters.
I like mini dunas They arent any good for syrians as they are to small but for dwarfs they are great,

Use wire cutters or tin snips to cut a hole in the roof bars, measuring how much you cut, then fix one of these in place:
