I only ever use the brush on fast dry enamal as thats the one that states safe for childrens toys, the spray doesn't thats why i avoid it - I do know that many people on this site have used spray with no problems, but I didn't want to chance it as it is only paint that has the safe text bit on it.

I'm sure the fast dry spray could use solvents and other chemicals to help it apply evenly and dry quickly. I wouldn't risk it over the paint on non-toxic kind.

Thanks for your input guys, much appreciated. I will return the spray and swap for the paint just to be on the safe side.

It says on their official website that it is safe to use on kids toys? Decorative spray paints from Plasti-kote, the market leading spray paint (http://www.plasti-kote.co.uk/Product/pcode---4427/pccode---6751)
