The weather is finally gorgeous and I decided to take advantage of my day off and take some shots of what's in my backyard :lol: to my amazement it was quite busy back there.

Wow your so lucky to get such beautiful anima ls in your garden I get a family of blue tilts that return each year and nest in the nest box in my garden but that's it ,great pictures.

@ Kaztrekie: yes I do have to admit we get quite a few birds in my backyard like the cardinals, the robin, blue jays and a few smaller birdies...the usual squirrel and every once in a while a rabbit :) I know that the squirrel and the cardinals live around my house, the rest are just visitors

It's actually a she! Not that I'm a squirrel expert or anything but she has a baby :lol:

Here's the baby, the photo wasn't as sharp as I would've like reason for me not posting it, but I guess it's ok :) he was super fast and I was focusing manually, literally had no chance!!!

Super pics well done on getting all the little creatures in shot I never manage it usually its a bum or a wing tip as they scoot off quick. I feel all summery now seeing these instead of looking out at all black clouds over head here in unsunny London. Thanks for sharing you have a great eye for a photo more pics please x

I'm glad I was able to "sunny" things up for you :lol:
I'm sure I would also get a bum or a wing tip if I wouldn't be so far away from them when I'm taking the photo. I might actually start a photo thread :)

I love squirrels. We had a problem with them a while back though because a bunch got into our attic and ruined some stuff. My father was so furious he was ready to set kill-traps. But I had a fit about it and was able to convince him to use humane traps instead. We caught many a squirrel (and I drove them out to the middle of nowhere to be released back into the wild) before the landlady successfully fixed the roof. I became quite attached to the little critters after bonding with so many of them in the car on the way to the woods. :p

Awww, I'm glad you were able to convince your father to use humane traps instead :) This squirrel is quite sneaky! My mom was cooking once and she let the door leading to the patio open so the kitchen would cool off faster, but the food smell went out as well. We left the kitchen for no more than 10minutes, when we came back the squirrel was in the door ready to come in :lol:
