[Erin Loves Dwarf Hamsters]

This isn't his official memorial, I'll spend some time making that later on. This is more the announcement of his passing. We found him last night sleeping in his nest forever. He wasn't very old and I wasn't expecting it at all.
He was 1 year 7 months old. The video announcement made for YouTube will have to do for now until I feel able to make his proper memorial. I'm absolutely heartbroken...

Oh gosh, I'm so sorry to hear about Professor Fat Face. When I saw this topic, my heart simply sank. It's such a shame when they end up going so suddenly.

I am so sorry, Erin... I could very much feel your pain through the video and I've shed a few tears of my own over Fatty. I seriously adored that little man with all my heart, as much as any of us can adore a hamster that isn't our own.

He clearly had a wonderful life with you and was lucky to have such a loving home.

So sorry you lost Professor Fat Face. It's always hard to lose one of our furry friends, but even more so when it comes sooner than we expect. Your video touched my heart and it is so clear how special this small hammy was to you. By all the responses, it is also clear how he touched so many other lives too. Part of what is so special about HC is times like this. Here, people really know how sad and hurt you are feeling, and they feel sad with you. I am far from you, but I hope you can feel my heartfelt sympathy for the passing of your Professor.
