My Hybrids

I realised i have not yet introduced to the forum my two adorable hybrid dwarf hamsters. Well here they are!

Faline is a bundle of sweetness... She has major cage rage but she is lovely to handle out the cage... she loves to try and nibble everything in sight whilst on her travels, even if i do tell her that not everything is edible :p I took her on from a friend.

Cecil really is one little plonker. He tries climbing everything but falls flat on his little bum! He also has major cage rage, will smack a treat out of your fingers if your in his territory but once out he's a lovely cuddly fella!
I got him from a mouse breeder, and i was telling her about my love for hamsters and mice and she asked if i would like to take on this dwarf hamster that she'd taken on from a girl who was sold 'buy one get one free' on the hybrid hamsters and could only keep one so gave this little fella to the mouse breeder, of whom held him until she could find him a nice home.. and he came to me. :)

Thanks DrKMcK, it was a total shock.. she showed no signs of ill health and she wasn't really old either :(

I don't know whether it is easier when it's sudden like that or when you see it coming. It's just that they attach to our hearts so quickly. :-(

I'm not entirely sure myself... but it looked like she went over to the rainbow bridge in her sleep so it's quite a consolation to think she didn't suffer. Best way to go i think.. if there is a best way.
Oh yes... i instantly attach to little furries.. i had a mouse that died after 4 days of being with me and it broke my heart.
